I started out trying to write a random story that had no meaning to me. That was more difficult to generate, so I turned to experiences I have had or know of. I thought of situations that could have quick endings. At first I started out trying to be very detailed. This process worked fine when it came down to edited it to 55 words. I could play with various ways of describing my story. The entire process was fun and rewarding. I had complete control over how I wanted it to flow and end.
